The company continues to make progress in this regard and is building a new occupational health and safety framework aimed at substantially improving the working environment and at controlling and preventing personal injury and any health issues among employees.

The involvement of Exagres management and employees in the new requirements and measures of these standards has been fundamental to creating a safer and more healthy workplace for both employees and anyone else entering the premises

After defining the management of hazards and identifying opportunities tied to occupational health and safety on the premises, suitable prevention measures were drawn up and improvements designed for the protection and performance of the various roles. A series of other issues were also dealt with during the process to integrate the new ISO 45001 standards, such as the development of employee needs and expectations so they can do their work in complete autonomy and safety.

THREE HIGH-LEVEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

The recent implementation of ISO 45001 standards is fully in line with other standards of the high-level management system, meaning that they share such aspects as definition of the organisational context, leadership, employee participation, performance evaluation and ongoing improvement:

- ISO 9001: 2015 Quality management systems.
- ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental management systems.
- ISO 45001: 2018 Occupational Health and Safety management systems.

Exagres now has three standardised management systems that will support the management of organisational processes, in turn achieving greater participation by senior management, increased motivation and stronger commitment from all members of staff.
