Exagres at the ‘3rd Conference for the Promotion of Ceramics in Urban Spaces -CRU-’

Exagres at the ‘3rd Conference for the Promotion of Ceramics in Urban Spaces -CRU-’

Exagres presents its technical range at the Castellón Regional School of Architects.

The ‘3rd Conference for the Promotion of Ceramics in Urban Spaces -CRU-’, organised by the Provincial Council of Castellón took place on 21 March in the Assembly Hall of the Castellón Regional School of Architects.

As was the case at the previous two events, this conference seeks to raise awareness among professionals (architects, senior architects and engineers) about all the possibilities offered by ceramic materials when designing and implementing their projects in public spaces.

The 4th ‘SOM CERÀMICA’ Awards for Ceramic Product Innovation in Urban Applications were presented in a packed assembly hall. At the previous edition of these awards, in January, the prize was given to Exagres and its new line of ceramic raised access flooring, Exadeck.
The next editions of the “Provincial Ceramic Initiatives Contest” and “the ‘SOM CERÀMICA’ Ideas Contest for Urban Regeneration -CRU-” were then announced, now in their third and second editions, respectively.

After that, Vicente Panadero (Commercial Officer at Exagres) gave a talk entitled ‘EXAGRES and the value of extruded ceramic in architectural design’, sharing with the audience some first-hand knowledge about the technical advantages offered by the product range from Exagres. Great strength and durability were among the features of extruded tile highlighted by Vicente Panadero, making it a perfect material for projects in public spaces. In turn, the broad range of technical solutions allow the demands of various spaces to be met while fully complying with all the requirements dictated by the technical building code. At an aesthetic level, the variety of designs and finishes developed by Exagres and applied to its collections also gives professionals a wide range of possibilities for meeting the aesthetic needs required by any project.

Those attending the event were also given the chance to see the quality and variety of Exagres products for themselves via a selection of materials on show in the Assembly Hall of the Castellón Regional School of Architects, as well as to receive further technical details by talking with our Commercial Officer in person.

The event continued with a review of progress by the winning projects in “the ‘SOM CERÀMICA’ Ideas Contest for Urban Regeneration (CRU)” at its first editions in the towns of Almassora, Peñíscola and Montán.

The day concluded with a presentation by Javier Sorlí (Coordinating Architect for Culture at the Castellón Regional School of Architects) on ‘CeramiCS’, an app developed thanks to an initiative by the Provincial Council of Castellón and the Castellón Regional School of Architects aimed at building a database specialising in architectural projects and urban spaces where ceramic materials have been used in the province of Castellón.

Exagres invites you to meet all products in our catalog.
